Kevin W. Christensen, Ph.D.
Kevin W. Christensen, Ph.D. has submitted expert reports to the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and regulatory agencies. He has also provided deposition testimony in state court. Additionally, he has written white papers submitted to the State of Florida’s Department of Transportation. Dr. Christensen has over a decade of economic consulting experience performing econometric, statistical, and qualitative research in antitrust litigation, intellectual property portfolio benchmarking, predictive analytics, mergers and acquisitions, damages estimation, class certification, economic impact analyses, and tax revenue impact assessments. His work spans an array of industries including oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, banking, automobile finance, wholesale distribution, transportation, consumer retail products, agriculture, building materials, tourism, and gaming industries. These matters often involved the acquisition, synthesis, and analysis of massive electronic datasets (“big data”).
Dr. Christensen holds a Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of Florida and a B.S. from James Madison University, all in economics. While at U.F., Dr. Christensen worked for the Bureau of Economic and Business Research which, among other things, provided economic research to state and local government. He was also an instructor for The Economics of Science, Technology, and Innovation, a senior level economics elective in U.F.’s Warrington College of Business.
Since 2011, Dr. Christensen has been on the board of editors for The Antitrust Source, an online publication from the American Bar Association’s Section of Antitrust Law. In 2018 Dr. Christensen was recognized in Global Competition Review's Who's Who Legal: Competition Future Leaders – Economists.
